It may sound frumpy to record a dance album with analog instruments, synthesizers, klangerzeuger and recording techniques only, apart any digital gadgets as sequencers and fancy tenori-ons. But in the end Arnaud Rebotini, producer and singer from the French Black Strobe came up with an ultrapointed and never-heard-alike release. Sounding like the first steps in heavy electronica in the 80s, „Music components“ clashes antique yet timeless sounds with arrangements and culture which were actually discovered way later. It’s like playing dubstep with baroque instruments or jungle with woodblocks. Fantastic.
