In a cranked up scenario where an evil Steve Jobs’ nanotechnolgy enables a Battle Royalesque computer game in which delinquents’ heads explode and limbs are chopped in a never even fashionable or stylish manner, the shallow movie lags (haha) depth as it tries to criticize the commercialization of violence, even though it itself is commercialized violence.¹

And what the hell are Ludacris and Alison Lohman doing in this film!?
