Rejoice, the medipack gets a revival. As a partisan of old school gameplay I welcomed it as much as the fact that the alien invasion takes place in a setting other than Kabul or evil corporation headquarters. For the rest it boils down to genre standard gaming popcorn (open the door, shoot everything) with a decent enough presentation and a lackluster storytelling where the human tragedy – how often do you get the chance to play a family man with wife and a kid!? – gets sprayed with a little too much gunfire.
