Mouse on the Keys may at first glance sound like yet another quirky folk outfit. Mouse on the Keys however are a Tokyo-based fusion trio consisting just of drums and two pianos. Live they are joined by a bugler who is also responsible for the nervous visuals underlining the urgency and restlessness of this 90’s post hardcore-driven contemporary jazz.

After their 2007 EP release ‘Sezession’, Mouse on the Keys’ first LP ‘An anxious object’ will be released worldwide in 2010 and is sure one to keep in mind as the connaisseurs over at Denovali will release both in limited gatefold vinyls.
